Mayor Domenic J. Sarno received a letter from Sam Kennedy, President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox, thanking the Mayor and the City of Springfield for hosting a successful Winter Weekend. Mayor Sarno states, “Always great working with our Boston Red Sox and Sam Kenney – class act. We are looking forward to next year’s event!”

Mayor Sarno Meets with new MGM Springfield President and COO Chris Kelley and other MGM Executives
Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and members of his administration today met with new MGM Springfield President and COO Chris Kelley, Regional Portfolio President of MGM Resorts International Jorge Perez, Vice President & General Counsel Seth Stratton, and Director of Government Affairs Jose Delgado. The discussion included future projects, developments and events, amongst other items. Mayor Sarno states, “The City of Springfield has had and will continue to have a positive working relationship with MGM Springfield. My administration is looking forward to working with MGM Springfield President Chris Kelley and his team as we continue to take not just our MGM Springfield to the next level, but our city too. There are many more positive developments in the works and we are looking forward to announcing them in the future.”
